Contest Brief
I'm currently working on a new board game which I need several game tokens and/or pieces. I'm looking for someone with more creativity than myself and hope that you can design something unique for the game. These pieces are relatively small but I would still like some good detail in the designs. The board game is a war game which uses 28mm miniatures and these miniatures are highly detailed. The tokens and pieces should be also. The game is played on a hexagonal grid 3 dimensional board. The pieces will be cast in plastic and will be poured as a single color. Multi-color designs are welcome but the final pieces will be a single color.
I've attached some simple drawings of the pieces. As you can see I really could use your creative skills.
The game pieces: (dimensions are provided only to give some idea as to size. Your illustration does not need to be to scale.)
1. A Peg (2mm diameter peg at base with minimum height of 15mm and maximum height of 25mm and maximum width at top of 8mm)
2. A Game Token (~15mm diameter and ~8mm deep)
3. A Move Marker (~20mm wide and ~25mm high and ~8mm deep) with stand
4. A Small Plaque (~50mm wide and ~25mm high and ~8mm deep) with stand
Requirements:
* Provide illustration design as a JPEG or PNG file.
* Design should include all four items in the same illustration.
* These game pieces need to look like they go together.
* You may theme the pieces such as Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Modern Military or Steampunk (or a generic design that goes with all of these genres).
* The Move Marker and Small Plaque should show front and rear designs
* The Move Marker and Small Plaque will need a place for numbers on one side of the piece.
* There is no logo at this time. If you feel the design needs a logo, please place "Logo Here" on the design.
If questions come in that would aid everyone, I'll be sure to post that information to the project description.
Thank you for your time and consideration for this project.
