Contest Brief

We are looking for a mascot that encompasses one of the four Basic Elements: Earth, Fire, Water and Air. In all likelihood this would take a human or near human form, with emphasis on the torso and above (think potential profile pictures). We'd like the elements to be prominent in the illustration, and may require additional editions in the future. Our demographic is between the ages of 21-40, and we are looking for a nice blend between something you'd see in a graphic novel, and a cartoon.

The photo we've attached does an excellent job capturing all four elements, but takes more of a real-life form than we're looking for, particularly given these are legitimate human models.

The second image I quite like given its coloring and vibrance, but wouldn't play well as a potential social media profile picture.

  A human or alien figure with those powers is likely better suited. Bear in mind theyll likely be used as profile pictures on social media, so it should be zoomed in.
