Contest Brief

Hello Freelancers. I have a fun corporate identify contest. I am new to freelancer but am super excited to see what can be achieved.

We are looking to develop a brand identify for a Safety Consultancy business. A website has been developed but set as private as it is not ready to be launched.

The business name is Etch Safety (please disregard any reference to Astute Safety in the image titles attached as we have decided to move away from this to Etch Safety). A company is in the process of being set up, so ABN and ACN's are not yet available for inclusion in this design contest (we would like both of these included in the stationary suite) however these details will follow within the next two weeks.

The desired colour scheme for the corporate identity should be orange/grey/charcoal/black. We have seen these colours work well and would like to explore it some more.

We have a black gorilla on the front page of our website which we are looking to have a safety fall arrest harness photo shopped onto him (see below) and he will become our mascot. I will attach some images to this contest which may provide context as to the website.

Naturally, this is not the first consultancy business to be established in Western Australia, and we do have competitors. As you will appreciate, competition means a start up company must have a unique point of difference in order to compete.

Our point of difference is that we are a safety consultancy of the new generation i.e. our brains are wired to find easier ways of doing things and we develop smarter more efficient processes - all to bring a cost saving to Western Australian businesses. We are challenging the old ways, and taking on our competitors who like to do things in a way that squeeze more money out of clients.

Our tagline at the moment is "Reducing the red tape". We aren't sure though whether this is the best tagline. To us safety professionals, we understand that getting rid of red tape means making things easier, but would our customers make the same connection??

What we require -

- A company logo/name/tagline design (which can be used as one image plus all able to used separately as well) please experiment with font (e.g. don't be afraid to experiment with lower case and upper case and bold/unbold etc.)
- Letter head design
- Presentation folder (sturdy card print with one pocket and business card slot) design
- Business card design (super professional but gives a fresh/innovative feel and must be double sided)
- Facebook cover photo
- Photoshop a white or orange safety fall arrest harness onto the gorilla image provided with this contest (refer to image of koala provided for an understanding of what we are wanting).

Our competitors dont really have the best digital presence. Their websites are cheap looking, and dont really do much in the way of addressing customer pain points. To us, first impressions count - number 1 priority. Content being key is our number 2.

The other images provided with this contest are:
- black and white work gloves (this is used as a background on most of the web pages)
- sepia work boots (this is used on the 'Get in Touch' webpage)
- colourful safety hard hats (this is the static header for the website, and also used on the home page as an image
- the four location shots are the four jurisdictions we service

Employer Feedback

“Andrew (XWT) did a fantastic job preparing a stationary suite, corporate presentation folder, coffee mug, tshirt, polo shirt and 4WD car door signage magnet. He was very efficient, happy to help with anything, and flexible. Customers will not be disappointed with Andrew's ability and approach to design.”

Hi Freelancers. Not sure if you receive alert when I update the contest details..... in case you did not receive an alert, I have updated the contest to explain that I would designers to experiment with the font of the business name (e.g. don't be afraid to experiment with lower case and upper case and bold/unbold etc.) I have uploaded some sample photos from the internet to give some idea of what I like. Some inspiration!!! Thank you to you all for working with me us on this. It is very important to us.
