Contest Brief

Requirement:

Design a simple and elegant pre-release landing page (see attached mockup: mockup.png) for a website that is in the making (Att: logo is provided and attached citation-log.ai).

1 - The most important element of this design contest is the background design of the landing page. Since the website targets university researchers, professors, and students in general, I would like the design to incorporate elements of a “student” desk, such as computer, research papers, etc.. Something relaxing to look it.

A perfect example is http://mailchimp.com/ (attached: perfect_example_mailchimp.png). Their design is simple, beautiful and elegant.

Other less elegant examples are attached :another_example1.png and another_example2.png

IMPORTANT:
1- The logo is provided.
2- Use design components that are similar to bootstrap Twitter

Please do not use a lot of colors in your text. The logo has too many colors which I don't like. I may soon convert it to one color logo. I prefer simply black, grey, white texts.

Thank you all for submitting your design. I've seen some nice designs., I haven't found a design yet to match what I am looking for. General guideline: Use only one font across the page, and play with its color Intensity and size. Have a look at www.slack.com, this is perfect example of the use of fonts. One more thing, the email text box and button, use the same design as slack.com (bootstrap components only).
