Contest Brief
My lawn bowls club, the Doubleview Bowling Club is looking for a new logo. We are basically referred to as The View and our colours are gold and blue. We would like the name The View and our colours to be used and to incorporate something that would associate us with lawn bowls. If you don't know what lawn bowls is go to www.bowlswa.com.au .....the logo is to be used for marketing, posters, on our hats etc.
The reason we are called Doubleview is that we are on the top of a hill and we basically have the ocean on the west and the city to the east and we have a view of both, so the incorporation of the view and our location may be of benefit to your entry.
For all of you people that cant read. Its says lawn bowls and it says blue and gold and having a logo that stretches out a long way left to right isn't going to work is it because the brief says it is to be used for hats etc It also says to use the name The View and not Doubleview Bowling Club .....so far no one has got any of it correct..... if you don't know what lawn bowls is then don't try and pretend it is bowling....
OK getting there. Will probably give some feedback to the best 5 or 6 and then print them off and show them to the members and get them to vote for the one they like the best. If there are any small modifications that we think would make it better we will let you know.

wow we are getting somewhere, if you have anything to do with ten pin bowling then you don't understand. If you write Doubleview then you also don't understand. It specifically says use the words The View and to use Gold and blue
