Contest Brief

We are launching a new website called LeverageBlackjack.com. The site will be an instructional site that teaches people basic and advanced strategies for the card game of blackjack.

"Leverage" is used as it is with investment, meaning loosely: "an investment strategy using other people's money to increase potential returns"

The logo should contain both the words "Leverage Blackjack" (without the '.com') as well as a supporting icon. The icon should work both with the words and on it's own. The logo will primarily used on white background, but should work on black background as well.

I have attached logos as a samples of the type of logos that I have used on other projects and that I like. (Left On Yellow is a software integration platform, Power Thinking is a technology consulting company)

Winning entries should submit final design with the following high-quality file types: JPG, TIFF, EPS and PNG

I have been giving each logo a 1-5 star rating. In an effort to launch a poll, I am going to reject any entry that I did not give at least a 3 star rating to.

I absolutely want to continue to take new submissions, but the rate of submissions has dropped off significantly so I want to get some outside feedback.

Thank you so much for the submissions! I am extremely grateful.

Several of you have submitted designs with with an icon that contains 'LB'. I have two important thoughts on this.

First, when I think of Leverage Blackjack, even though blackjack is one word, I shorten it to BJ. Therefore I think of Leverage Blackjack as 'LBJ' rather than LB.

Second and more importantly, I am drawn to icons that don't contain the letters, but instead are symbols that tie in with the name. You can see that in the two examples I provided.
