Design a Flyer for Tutorpedia's holiday postcard!

Contest Brief

I need the front of a custom holiday post card (5.375 in x 8.375 in, landscape) designed for an annual mailing to donors, clients, program partners, supporters, etc. of a hybrid educational organization. I'd love to have the final file in a layered PSD file (Illustrator and InDesign also acceptable). The holiday card needs to be non-denominational (so NOT centered on Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.). It should have a general greeting such as "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings" and be devoid of Christmas trees, menorahs, and the like (snowflakes, etc. = okay). I'm aiming to have recipients receive in mail by Thanksgiving.

I'd like the design to include photos of people in the Tutorpedia family (included as attachments) - it is up to the designer to choose how many photos and which ones to include. As far as copy, I need it to be clear it's "from Tutorpedia" but here are some examples of what you can incorporate into your design:

--Happy Holidays from Tutorpedia
--Season's Greetings from Tutorpedia
--Wishing you a joyous holiday season
--Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season
--Sending you cheerful holiday wishes

Thank you for your time and consideration of this project! If you have any questions, please leave a comment. Looking forward to seeing your submissions!

Employer Feedback

“There were lots of submissions with many great qualities showing great creativity during my first design contest on Freelancer, but in the end I could only choose one winner. I chose VrushaliSingh\'s design (#79) because it had a good selection of photos (many students represented), nice unique grid format, simple effects, and a clear focus on the holiday message using a cool font+drop shadow effect, shape, and border. To me the winning design was also reminiscent of a holiday gift--perfect for the theme and use of this card. Loved it! I only made one small change with font for the \"from Tutorpedia\" line to use something more like calligraphy and the designer provided instructions to make sure I knew how to change while also letting me know he would make any change I needed. Very happy in end!”

There were several honorable mentions and I'm thankful I now know what other designers I can contact for other design work! There are some designs that may be great for a back-to-school flyer (i.e., #77 ) or spring break graphic (i.e., #28 ) with a few quick edits. Special thanks to those of you that submitted multiple designs -- if there were a most ProACTIVE award it would go to PointlessPixels who sent 21 submissions! TWENTY-ONE!

Thanks again to all of you for participating and making this a good first experience for me on Freelancer. Have a great week and happy freelancing!

Hello , do you mean a Flyer or Postcard + do you accept PSD layred file ?
    There is no difference

Hello - yes I accept PSD layered file as final. I put this in "design flyer" category because the use/function is for a post card (direct mail campaign), but correct there is no significant difference - especially since I will design the back of postcard myself.
