Contest Brief

I started a discord community server called "The Cryosphere", specifically for the Cryonics community. We're still small, but growing fast. We're looking for two closely related images - a banner and accompanying logo - that will capture the spirit of the server's community and the concept of Cryonics more broadly.

- The server's banner should be 1920x1080. The server's logo should be 512x512 pixels.

- We're looking for creative artistic interpretations of Cryonics.

- The logo and the banner should follow similar color schemes and should make sense in combination. The logo can be a small part of the larger banner, or a wholly different image.

- We are looking for an illustrated piece of artwork that involves aspects of Cryonics. In order to understand this, you'll have to read up on Cryonics and watch the videos. We are *NOT* looking for the words "The Cryosphere" against a colorless background. Your illustration should involve some or all of the aspects of this "Cryonics" concept, as detailed in 1, 2, 3, and 4 below. Also, definitely not looking for a collage of the attached images, they are for reference and inspiration only.

1. What is Cryonics? : Cryonics is an effort to save lives by using temperatures so cold that a person beyond help by today's medicine can be preserved for decades or centuries until a future medical technology can restore that person to full health. 2. What ideas should the images embody? : Cryonics is both a scientific pursuit and also an exciting and optimistic view of the future. It is philosophically related to ideas such as Futurism, Transhumanism and Techno-optimism. Your banner & logo should capture the general spirit of these ideas.

3. What is Discord? : Discord is a chat app where people create servers focused around communities, ideas, games, and other things.

4. Some other things associated with Cryonics: ice, liquid nitrogen, mind-uploading, simulating reality, nanotechnology. You don't have to use any of these ideas in your images/illustrations, but these things should at least be helping to stir your imagination.
