Contest Brief

Hi!

BACKGROUND:
We are a productivity software start up based in Vienna, Austria (https://allactivity.com/). We are in the process of setting up our blog, and require assistance in content creation efforts.

GENERAL TASK DESCRIPTION:
We would like to turn our recent article into a short silent video. "7 Productivity Hacks That No One Likes To Talk About at Parties" - we expose the most common mistakes in office work workflows and provide actionable recommendations to achieve freedom through productivity. You can check it out yourself in the attachment.

YOUR TASK:
Make the article into a 300-400 word text;

Based on it, draft a storyboard for a silent video, which should include screens that also feature the occasional words/phrases/headings/half-sentences.

The final video should be about 1-1,5min long. You are NOT required to create an animation, but a comprehensive storyboard that we can present to an animator.

FEELING/ANGLE OF ARTICLE:
The article is a little bit tongue-in-cheek, a little bit funny, light-hearted. We are not really claiming that this is a scientific study, i.e., we don't pretend to be too serious about it. But we do (strongly) believe we have come up with a few original insights into making people experience a better workday, which could/should make our readers think: "Ha, that's funny, but actually also has some truth.".

We want the video to meaningfully support and convey the message of the article. It should serve as a separate piece of content and the viewer should be able to gain the same insights from the video without reading the article itself. It should be an educational tips kind of a video with a funny side to it.

Have fun!

    Do you want a storyboard as in a story itself, with characters and narrative? or a script with the ideas summarized to be shared and easily digested?

      A combination of both! The existing article I´ve provided needs to be turned into a video script, along with the visualization ideas (preferably as a comprehensive storyboard) for the subsequent video.
