Contest Brief

Note: Please read ALL instructions below before submitting entries:

Construction/Remodeling Company needs a logo redesign. We've attached a jpg of their current logo below.

They would like to keep the "T" in "Twenty" that is a cross made from nails, but they would like to see other options for layouts and artwork that can be incorporated into the logo. The cross does not have to be in the "T" of twenty. You might choose not to use it at all if you come up with something better or you might have it separate from the name. Please use your creativity!

They would prefer NOT to have cursive or script fonts. The cursive script is hard to read on signs they put in people's yards while working.

They also like the blue and orange colors but would be open to other color combinations if it's something that's bright and will stand out on signs, vehicles, and business cards.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: The file needs to be in an editable vector format in Adobe Illustrator .AI or .EPS format. Please let us know what fonts you have used for this project in the entry comments. We would prefer inexpensive fonts from MyFonts.com that can be purchased with all rights, fonts from Envato Elements or open source fonts.

Thanks in advance!

Employer Feedback

“It was a great experience working with Mahmuda Begum Sumi. Her logo was very creative and unlike any of the other entries. She answered all of our questions quickly and delivered the artwork right away and in the correct formats. We are so pleased that she chose to enter our contest and look forward to working with her again in the future.”

Thank you to everyone who entered this contest! We had so many great entries but after much deliberation, we chose #61 by Mahmuda Begum Sumi. It narrowly beat out #39 by Miguel Francisco N., #11 by Ibrahim H. and #60 by Tongatul I. We never expected to see such great logo options and to have such a hard time deciding. We really appreciate all the thought and time that went into these and wish everyone well in the future.

Thank you Cristian! Instead of JUST saying other options for fonts and leaving it at that, we also included layout and anything else. But you're right. Instead of meaning fonts AND layout AND anything else, it could be taken as fonts OR layout OR anything. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your suggestion to update the description.

So far, Ibrahim's #11 and #12 and Josip's #23 and #16 are the only logos we'd consider. We really like that they've added things to the logo and not just used the "T" cross with different fonts.

"Thry would like to keep the "T" in "Twenty" that is a cross made from nails, but they would like to see other options for fonts, layout, and anything else you think might work". Please understand us and update your description.

PSD won't, but EPS will if it's a vector graphic. They will be needing to use it on billboards and other large signs. Thanks!
