Contest Brief

I am looking for a talented book cover designer to create a visually appealing and captivating cover for my fiction book. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing book covers, particularly in the fiction genre. Here are the detailed requirements:

a) Design a book cover with:
Main title - A Rich Man’s Checklist
and subtitle – A guide to happiness and financial freedom.
Author Name: J. S. Sandhu
Back cover text - will be provided once final design selected and competition ends.
b) design front back and spine of the with size 5" x 8"

If awarded as winner in the competition, please submit all the files with following requirements:
a) Provide font files used for the cover
b) Top Margin: 0.76-inch Bottom Margin: 0.76 inch Inside Margin: 0.76 inch Outside Margin: 0.6-inch Gutter: 0.14-inch bleed: 0.125 inch
c) Fonts must be Embedded
d) Must ensure CYMK colours (colour)/ Grey scale (B/W)
e) Image should be with higher resolution
f) Submit .jpg .pdf and Indesign formats
g) Must transfer all the IP and copyrights and legal reasons

When submitting your entry please submit front and back designs with Spine.
Spine should have title and Author name in 2 different colours to make it stand out.

Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition
- Ability to create visually striking and unique designs that accurately represent the essence of the book
- Knowledge of current trends in book cover design
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and incorporate client's vision
