Contest Brief

We want to rebrand for our full ministry of congregation and school. The official and/or legal name(s) would be best. Bethesda on the Bay Lutheran Church & Childcare Center - long and cumbersome sure… But even just the word Bethesda as a focus in the new logo is a good start.

The word Bethesda is also scriptural and refers to the “pool of Bethesda” in the Old Testament. (Even a quick Wiki search gives a little info. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pool_of_Bethesda

Blue seems to be a natural color for Bay Village and the symbolism of water.
If at all possible, the font the I prefer us to use going forward with rebranding is called Calluna. If that could be incorporated in the Logo that would be great.

Attached is the ELCA - the mainline denomination that we are a member of. If that is incorporated even in a small manner in the over all design great. If that just doesn’t work, totally and completely fine. We’ll just be sure to have it visible on the website so folks know what member church we belong to.
