Contest Brief

Hiya! I'm a photographer that hates doing my own edits. However, my standards are pretty high, so if you know some advanced photoshop manipulations that can make this image tres wonderful? Then please, be my guest! I'm not looking for a basic filter overlay. I want the sun shining through the trees here to be otherworldly! Also, the last time I'd offered work to a freelancer on here... she couldn't understand English very well and was saying things to me like, "stop wasting time." ;)) It would have been funny if it wasn't so sad because we had to go back and forth like about 20 times just because she wasn't able to understand what I was talking about. Therefore, I had to keep rephrasing it for her, so she got all defensive and upset with me because she couldn't follow along. Really then, my time was wasted and, I can't do that again. If you are with me so far and you get that plus are good with advanced techniques keep reading, please. This is a nice high res photo it just needs some loving care to have its the best face put forward. I will need the source file for it. I don't want the image resized at all, I need it kept nice and big as it is so that I may use it commercially if I chose to or for print. I understand that this is challenging for us to work this way. The last time I did a project like this it was easier because we used zoom so we could see each other's mouse moving in real-time to make instant corrections but we'll just have to be more patient this way. Therefore, I will need someone who is comfortable doing revisions, if necessary, till we are satisfied it is as desired.

If you scan the surface of the image you can see there are a few random dust spots from my lens. Those should be removed. The light in the first third of the frame (left side, moving from left to right)is good. But what can we do to make those smaller trees in there pop a little? Or, do you think it would be better to just focus on creating some great light diffusions and variances of gold to make it look more magical? I'm looking for magic but not garish.
So I've added a second photo to give you a bit of an example of how to somewhat (although it doesn't have to be perfect measurements) section of the photo's space. For the two areas above and below the sun flare... please try to remove some of the sun flare around both the top of the area, so that it's a bit more brownish like the bottom half underneath the sun, and remove a bit of the sun flare too from the left side of the sun as well. I put some white X's to mark the spots just to be clear. Also the right side panel (if the photo were divided in thirds equally from left to right, lol) but yes so then the right side is obviously way overexposed there. Can you please try to do something for that side of the image? make it have more clarity and lessen the exposure. There's a beautiful lake in there too that's hard to see. Feel free to add some color as well but again use discretion for that. The main character here is the sun! That's what we want to make the most brilliant with warm and inviting evenness with the rings. They can be cleaned up a little and I'd love to see some better-defined rings, think of it like the rings of Saturn! I can count at least five of them on the bottom half but the top needs to match to make it more even all around. The opacity is good too. We're just looking for a better quality picture. Thank you so much! I know my magic maker is out there :)) Further, if you feel something else needs to be removed or added, please let me know. I'm open to suggestions. Please note that I may be offline for the next 15 hours unfortunately it's a very busy day so a slow first initial response does not indicate a lack of enthusiasm on my part! This is not my best photo but it is a favorite! I'd also need someone who is great with adding bokeh effects! I'm not a beast to work with but I am looking for some magic~~~

Employer Feedback

“I will work with Lianna again for sure!! In fact, she is the best designer I've worked with to date, I'll feel blessed to get her time again! Lianna writes fluently in English, she is professional, her communication style clear and concise. I wish I'd had more languages too... but I have so much respect for multi-lingual individuals! It's a lot easier to get the work done when you can understand each other perfectly & work in sync! This lady is a master designer producing top shelf results in a reasonable time. If I could have given Lianna six stars or more I would! Working with her was an absolute charm, from the get I was duly inspired by her ability to fully comprehend my vision for this piece and translate it to ways that were more lovely than I'd even imagined!!! Psst-- Lianna's special SuperPower? #DesignThinking with a side of ESP! ;) ”
