Gilgit Baltistan (GB) lies in the north of Pakistan having almost 1.9 million people. the majority people are religiously Muslims. There are 14 major languages spoken in GB but all of them can understand the national language Urdu. GB attaches his border towards China and has the highest border the Khunjerab pass. The ideal time to visit GB is in summers to enjoy their food like Shupati, Daodao, Mamtu, Trout fish and many more. The renowned places in GB to visit are Khunjerab border, Attabad lake, Passu cones, Hunza, Phander, Deosai, Sarfaranga desert, Nalter valley, Fairy meadows and many more. There is a road way towards GB from Islamabad (the capital of Pakistan) and also there are 2 airports one in sakardu and other in Gilgit city. On first week of July a 3 days festival happens in Shandur pass where there is highest pologround in the world. To cover whole area 15 days holiday is good enough and will cost from 500 to 600 dollars.
