Rejected close to 400 designs by now and i wanna give reasons why your design may have been dropped:
1. No heraldic badge design, if there was no heraldic badge design in your logo i immediately reject because for goodness sake it is in the title of the job
2. Generic tree designs, i have seen many logos that look like logos i have seen somewhere hence they lack authenticity
3. Tree design- fun fact, some species of the trees can live for over 1,300 years. Some of the tree designs here do not resemble the strangler fig and merely look like shrubs or some average looking tree. Remember i stated i wanted the logo to give off a feel of dominance, hence designs with weak looking trees and trees with no leaves is a no no
4. No tree in logo- i do not even think twice in this case, immediate reject

Hey guys, the entries just keep getting better but still many have not incorporated the heraldic badge design for the logo which is key for winning the contest. One other thing i'd like to point out is the trunk design of the tree. How the strangler fig works is that it grows on top of its host and eventually overpowers it and becomes dominant. Hence, in most cases it has an irregular pattern or shape to it. Here is an example of such https://images.app.goo.gl/msv4cCukWXfQ3jxf6 hence i don't expect the tree to look like other ordinary trees because it is not an ordinary tree.

Most designers have already caught on to the magnificence of the strangler fig and incorporated the dropping root system of the tree in their design which is quite nice (for those who do not know what i mean this is a link to show https://images.app.goo.gl/NsMbdm2PqzNJQ8Lw7)

Also guys, the Mugumo Tree/ Strangler fig is a majestic tree which i highly recommend looking up. i am getting a lot of generic tree logos which i do not approve of,

if you want to win contest, look up the tree species which is strangler fig and then look up heraldic badge then do some creative work.
