Contest Brief

I have a wall mural that I need designed for an elementary school library. (grades kindergarten to 5th grade.)

The mural is 20 feet wide x 3 feet high. Please focus on illustration, with minimal text.

The school’s mascots are a male and female wildcat. Photos of the mascots are attached.

The photo of each mascot will need to be vectorized and then incorporated into the design.

The mural must incorporate the following themes:
1. An open book as the base of the mural
2. Some or all of the 7 wonders of the world
3. Children's book characters (Example of some books to refer to: Any Dr. Seuss book, Charlotte's Web, Where the Wild Things Are, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, etc) But please change the characters so not to infringe any copyrights.
4. All or a portion of the world globe or world map.
5. Wildcat mascot and paw prints

The mural should have the phrase "Open a book and travel the world"

We want this mural to be bright and kid friendly. Use textures in illustrator when needed. No white space, transition everything well.

We really want it to show that we are in the 21st century and stretch the kids imaginations.

Attached is an example of something very similar to what I want the mural to look like.

Do you have a picture of the actual wall at all? Just for visualization. The 20x3 dimensions will make this tough to work, but I'd love to see what I can do!
