Contest Brief

I have already a graphic that I want to be used a logo. (It is attached to the contest. PNG only unfortunately, but you can vectorize it easily.)
I want you to make a creative animation that will hint at some of the themes that will be used in the channel.

The topics of the youtube channel will include: spiritual advice, self-development, business advice, psychology, relationships, well-being, nutrition, philisophy, success.
The idea of the channel that will connect those themes together and differentiate the channel from others is that based on simple logical techniques it is possible to cultivate and teach true living qualities like happiness, love, vision, motivation, etc. Whereas many other people approach these questions based solely on eastern traditions and practices, this channel will make an attempt to make a system that will be just as effective, but based on western principles, and using logic and technology as building blocks. However it will not compromise the truthness of the result.

The graphic for the logo was created with these principles in mind: it's a combination of the Omm symbol from the traditional indian religions and the dollar sign as a symbol for the western way of driving progress. Two things which are normally seen as completely opposite.

The name of the channel will likely be "Technology of Winning", and should be included in the animation somehow.
The name could change in the future, so please save all the source files in case we will need to re-render everything with a new name. (In that case for additional cost to you of course, or if we can just use your source files ourselves)

I am including these explanations here so that your logo animation might reflect some of it.

Visual preferences, ranges:
minimalistic FX [-------------------------<--->------] rich FX
black-n-white [-------------------<------------->------] colorful
photorealistic [------<---------------------------->-----] vector-looking
shy [--------------<-------------------->-] bold

Length: it's for the fast-paced realities of youtube, so 3-5 seconds is best. Up to 10 seconds if you can really make it worth it.
Ideas and suggestions:
The animation should combine some of the components which look technological/machinistic, and other components that look warm, living, glowing, burning, shining - the spiritual part. The challenge will likely be finding a good way to combine the two that will work. The whole logo will likely work better if besides of the combination of the two approaches it will somehow underline the contrast between the two. For example, it could use the technological movements or animations in the first half - and then they could transform into more living/warm animations in the second half, and the whole animation could end on a "slow warm burn" animation or similar. These are only suggestions though and serve as a way to make you understand the idea behind the logo.

The winner will be chosen based on how well the animation captures the idea of the channel, not solely on how well it implements specific visual ideas presented here (they are suggestions only).

If you would have given some feedback before the contest was over, the few genuine motion graphic designers would have adjust their animations to meet your needs. Now you are left with a few templates from a web that could be bought for 20$ and another 20$ for customization (to drag and drop your logo in it ;)

  Most of the entries were made with some sort of template. It's standard practice. What we are looking for is a designer that understands the task. We are not looking for "the most advanced original logo using all original softwares", we are looking for something that works for its purpose.
