<Overview>
Please collect system information on power balancing or service information that have or will have the technologies described in the “Technology Description” section below.

<Technology Description>
This technology is a technology to encourage an owner of an electric power device to change their actions to respond to a power balancing request.

This is how it works: The owner has an electric power device that can be charged or discharged based on a power balancing request. It could be an electrified vehicle, but it does not have to be. According to this technology, the system will give the owner points/rebates based on the status of his/her electric power device and displays the points/rebates earned in different statuses separately. So, not only giving the owner points/rebates in the charging status or discharging status, the system also gives points when the electric power device meets a requirement, for example when the electric power device is plugged in, or the electric power device is in a standby mode so that the electric power device can perform power balancing when requested. The system then shows the points/rebates earned in different statuses separately, like in discharging status, charging status, and plugged-in status separately. Via this system, the owner can tell the amount of points/rebates earned due to the different statuses of the electric power device, and therefore is encouraged to change his/her actions to earn more points/rebates. Therefore, owner’s participation in power balancing is encouraged.
