Our site is www.thesouthernrambler.com ....we are moving the site to WordPress from SquareSpace and actually have the content already moved over....you can see it here southernrambler.net where we have been playing some with the design but use your own imagination

I want the colors on the website to match the colors in the logo.

I like the feel of this website and we loosely patterned the website after this.

* Sections are Home, Stories, Images, Videos, Ramblings, Concert Photography, About,
Art & Music Calendar
*the cover shot to be longer but not as big as current site
* Want to have six pictures and links their stories above the fold
* Under that this quote
"Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here." Sue Monk Kidd
* Under that Instagram
* Under that one column with today's Art and Music Calendar (a widget needed for managing this - prefer one that allows artisit to sign in and post their own gigs and maybe even have the calendar automatically post to our FB page)
* One column with recent stories
* Column with tags
* Sign up to receive new stories and daily Art and Music Calendar.

When I post a new story, want the other stories to automatically shift over one position and the last one to drop off the page.

If your design is selected you will be expected to assist in setting up the design to work with our WordPress installation...like I said the content has been moved over to WordPress so the hard part is done already.
