Hello! I am a middle aged lady, finally having a go at some of my lifelong dreams. The years pass to quickly not to take a chance at true happiness! I spent the bulk of my career practicing law, both independently, and as an associate in larger firms. Then, an interesting set of circumstances saw me charged with a violent offense. This, somewhat surprisingly, ended my welcome in the legal arena, at least in the courtroom. My research and writing skills, however, are unaffected; I enjoy the periodic assignments I receive from those in the legal field. I do not care, at this time in my life, I find, to be a full time employee of another attorney. There are too many exciting paths out there, and time moves too quickly. I love the English language, with all of its nuances and potential. I have been told, throughout my life, that I speak and write well. I believe that my personal lexicon, and grasp of grammar and word usage, are above average. Rather than using these assets to intimidate, as I did in my legal practice, I am now able to enjoy educating, and assisting others to increase their own skill with this wonderful, diverse and powerful language that we, as Americans, are privileged to call our own. The other lifelong dream that I am have begun to fulfill, that of establishing and developing a homestead for my husband, our children, and now our grandchildren, and myself, allows me to spend the bulk of my time at home. My work is flexible, as is the time I am able to devote to freelance writing, proofreading and editing. I am in Heaven! I would love to assist you with your project!
