As an editor, I have extensive experience dealing with speakers of English as a second language who are required to write and publish in English despite a lack of comfort with the language. (I am also happy to edit for native speakers, of course!) I will examine idea coherency and flow, prose and line editing, and copyediting for grammar and conventions. My experience is mostly in academic writing but also includes fiction and other types of creative writing. For longer projects, I am willing to edit up to 500 words for free so that you can decide whether or not you wish to engage my services.
