Wordsmith, social media guru, and a self-proclaimed bookworm, that's the root of who I am. If there's one thing you should know about me, it is that my curiosity and passion are insurmountable. Now, I currently work as a part-time freelancer/travel blogger and a full-time adventurer. Before that, I was a newspaper reporter for 4+ years. I became an award-winning journalist and was honored by both the Minnesota Newspaper Association and the National Newspaper Association for my photography, writing and investigative skills. I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in Journalism. My education provided me with the ability to be pliable. I learned how to write an array of formats: public relation notices, well-researched and enjoyable blog posts, as well as, cleverly worded tweets.
