Mr Martin Kanamugire holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics with Education from Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) since 2004. He is a trained and experienced planner with managerial skills; he has project planning and monitoring capacity. He is equipped with key skills in project design and implementation strategies, Local Economic Development (LED), urban and participatory planning, procurement process, gender mainstreaming, gender advocacy, gender responsive budgeting and gender audit. Trained as database programmer, Kanamugire has the capacity in programme design especially database development with project planning as well as project coordination skills. Kanamugire has practical skills in community mobilization, communication and presentation as he is experienced in working with women and youth especially in rural areas; he qualifies as a workshop facilitator and teamwork builder. He is a very good computer literate with practical skills in several computer applications including programming in VB used to VB language, SPSS, Photoshop, etc. He is fluent in English, French and Kinyarwanda and can communicate in Kiswahili.
