I am a 33 year-old journalist from Rio de Janeiro. I have worked for the main Rio newspapers as O Globo, Extra and Jornal do Brasil covering Culture, Politics and Police – including a news story which was awarded by the Association of Judges of Brazil. As a freelancer, I write for websites and magazines like BBC Brasil, El País, Piauí, Carta Capital, Trip, among others. In 2015, when I lived in Dublin, Ireland, I worked as a freelance international correspondent. During my staying in Dublin, I also did the FCE Cambridge Exam and I scored B2, classified as “Independent User”.
I have also experience as editor, press officer and digital content and documentary producer, when I was responsible for websites and social media for the Olympic Games, Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro and City Hall. Additionally, I have a Postgraduate Degree in Publishing, I am the author of one book and co-author of six – one published by UNESCO in English-speaking countries, French and Portuguese.
