Perl/bash script to download, extract, repackage data

Excellent from beginning to end: the work was completed on time, even though it was a Sunday, and didn't require any further clarification from me whatsoever. hillscott also managed to figure out usage scenarios and corner cases that I didn't mention in the original spec and addressed them in the first cut of his script, so that we completely avoided any back-and-forth. I also took a fair bit of time testing the script, but hillscott was patient and professional. A+.
