I am a master's research student at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad currently working at Building Science Lab under the supervision of Prof. Vishal Garg. I am currently on a year-long research internship under Prof. Manisa Pipattanasomporn ( Adjunct faculty at Virginia Tech ). My primary research interests are in applications of Machine learning, Reinforcement learning for improving energy efficiency in buildings and HVAC systems. I am currently working on the projects: - Reinforcement learning for optimal control of HVAC systems for energy savings as well as thermal comfort. - Predicting energy consumption in Buildings using machine learning. - Development of a platform for Load forecasting as a service I have also previously interned at Progress Software, Hyderabad, where I made a mobile application in nativescript.
