A good translation can bridge the gap between people of different cultures and backgrounds. It involves reading between the lines from the perspective of the writer or speaker. It could determine the success or failure of a collaboration between two companies. A Logo is the face of the company and should be meaningful and be carefully considered. I am currently a student studying Engineering at TCD. My Parents are both Chinese. I was born outside of China and have spoken English at school and Chinese at home all my life. I had also acted as a translator for a project of a car company. I have translated many formal documents and have won some design competitions. I chose to do freelance because it is a growing market and the reward gets better the longer you work. College schedule, long distances of commuting and extra-murals leaves me with very little time to work. This is the best way for me to earn money and manage my time.
