I am Simon Finta, Graphic designer/Illustrator/Video Editor.

I am Simon Finta, Graphic designer/Illustrator/Video Editor. What does that mean? Well, I sometimes design logos, concepting objects with different forms, creating characters or environments on 2D surface with some manual technick, or Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or create videos with my Fujifilm camera, and edit it in Sony Vegas making some entertaining productions. I really love to create comics-like drawings but mostly I adore to make artistic videos. Recently I am also doing Animations, and improving my skills on this field. Me and my colleagues have made different animations for the Muesum of Fine Arts in Budapest. They needed some eduactional videos for their Antic Gallery in order to freshen up the museum visitation experience and put it into our modern time's requirements. They have given some titles, character names, stories, and I chose PERSEUS. We know him for fighting against MEDUSA and such. Every story was kinda lengthy, and they needed a 3-4 minutes long video tops, however long stories with many happenings and plotlines are nearly impossible tasks to put in a short playtime, so I was prompted to visualize the best scenarios that could tell the most significant portions of the main story, and to create an overall informative story. Dialogs are minimal, the visualization took the main role. I used manual technics; drawings and digitalized and post-produced them in Photoshop/MOHO/After Effects. I had an opportunity to work with Health Chronicles, who informs people about being healthy in different ways, and to that they hired several freelancers to make animations for each topic. You can check them out on Youtube or their website via google. For every video we have several weeks tops, so time was the essence with every project. I have made 4 videos for them so far and really looking for do more. This is the very first video I did for them.

The Health Chronicle Animation Series

The Health Chronicle

I have been working for these people for several months now, and it was quite an experience so far. The projects are mostly about some everyday health issue we encounter on a daily basis, and these videos are showcasing how to fight, struggle against these issues. They are mostly made in a simple crayon, cartoonish style by using Photoshop/drawings/After Effects/Sony Vegas
