development of Business Intelligence Strategy and plans and participate in the achievement of objectives and targets • Implement and suggest improvements to the Business Intelligence policies and procedures • Review periodic reports submitted by subordinates and provide feedback and recommendations for improvements • Plan, organize and prioritise workloads in order to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks • Keep abreast the latest data warehouse technologies and ensure subordinates are aware of the same • Develop reports on engineering/ technical statistics • Establish necessary procedures to process users’ BI requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Develop, maintain and populate the Enterprise Data Warehouse as a repository upon which management depends on for its information about Zain IQ KPIs • Ensure the provision of Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) tools/procedures for populating data warehouse • Ensure that the data warehouse and ETL are updated to reflect new data sources and changes to existing data source formats and/or content • Develop and maintain the corporate data model and data dictionary (based on OCDM) to ensure consistency of data definitions across IT Systems • Develop daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports from the data warehouse as per agreed requirements with other Departments • Specify BI User Requirements and ensure proper delivered • Identify ways to retain customers through and categorizing loyalty, segmentation and cross-sell and up-sell efforts in a segmented and targeted manner • Initiate and oversee the creation of analytical infrastructure and associated analysis and reporting that includes weekly and monthly variables covering many aspects of customers including demographics, usage, social network, revenue, etc. to answer business questions including churn and retention, etc.
