My background is in ecological research: using advanced numerical methods to address ecological problems. I received my PhD in 1998, and have worked as a biostatistician and ecologist at a range of universities and government institutes in Australia and California. I have consulted widely for students, academics, and State and Federal research scientists and agencies. As a researcher I will provide you with not only the end product, but also the reasoning behind the analytical decisions, and potential alternative approaches. Where necessary, I will write a formal description of results suitable for a report or journal publication. I am experienced in analyzing data from many different disciplines, so can work with anything from business data, through to questionnaires, to conventional sampling data. I work primarily in R, but can code in Python and SAS. I am also proficient in most click-and point packages.
