This is a flappy bird inspired game and the difficulty shows it. I was the scriptor (coder) for this as well as the individual who had to put it all together and set the values in the inspector. I scripted the movement, collisions, scoring, procedural generation, replay ability. I really enjoyed creating the procedural generation and found the challenge refreshing. Since there is no better way to show scripting than a finished product you can play this by following the link.

These are some snap shots of a game prototype I took part in creating. My role was to be the scripting lead for the game.

I really enjoy the leadership roles when it comes to creating games. I had a bit more control over the overall game as the game concept was originally mine. This is a endless platform runner that tests a players mathematical abilities as well. I really enjoyed tackling the most difficult part of the game, making it fun. With almost every learning game falling short on this aspect I was very set on making this an enjoyable challenging experience. With much research on where the others failed I found that I needed to balance exploration, focus, rewards and challenge. To do this in the limited time we had (2 weeks), I managed to get these elements into the game. I used complicated dynamic difficulty scaling on both the mathematical procedural generation and Jump & Run procedural generation. Points as rewards, a non-distracting HUD and themes on how far you go.
