Hybrid waves localized at hyperbolic metasurfaces
Physical Review B
We reveal the existence of a type of surface electromagnetic wave supported by hyperbolic metasurfaces, described by a conductivity tensor with an indefinite signature. We demonstrate that the spectrum of the hyperbolic metasurface waves consists of two branches corresponding to hybrid TE-TM polarization. The shape of the equal-frequency contours can change from the elliptical to hyperbolic—a topological transition takes place. http://journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevB.91.235423

Using the developed installation it was made the measurements and their subsequent processing.
