After Google announced that GA360 will stop collecting data, every brand started asking their analyst to migrate the data and entire setup to GA4. Well, I helped multiple clients in the migration process after building and defining proper strategies. Client - Perk Apparel I helped the brand in migrating to GA4 after building the proper data-driven strategies. The tagging method and data collection method in GA4 is totally different from what we used to do in GA360. As GA4 is totally event-based platform, I had to strategize keeping an event-based approach in my mind. The setup has successfully been migrated and the client is able to export all the required reports and e-commerce data as well.

The task was to create funnel based on the requirement, but the attribution was not properly tracked because of tracking issue. Fixed the tracking issue, fixed cross domain and then created the funnel.

Requirement was to track 4 types of CTA available on the website via GTM. - Created custom code via custom javascript feature of GTM to track all the CTAs as direct elementor was not available - There was a requirement to track form submission CTA. However it can be clicked when not all the mandatory fields are filled. To avoid such situation, created custom code to validate if all the fields are duly filled or not if user clicks on Submit button of form. - Validated data in GA4 report and enabled conversion.
