Full video link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29qQ8t6KlHo For this project I was provided: - script and outline (to crosscheck and confirm nothing got lost) - raw video and audio files - links to possible third party source material Audio Challenge This video was about using Amazon's Boost AI tool, but Amazon Prime (like most paid platforms) do not allow recordings. If you have tried this the screen is just black. So I had the audio files from Dr Cook and I had to sync them with muted screengrabs. We got around it, but it was a challenge. Also, because Dr. Cook recorded the audios herself I had to match the volume of the multiple samples. She used a smartphone recorder to grab the sound from her television. Not ideal :) And because this video was about sound quality, I had to be careful about not changing the quality of the sound as I modified. I love a challenge and finding creative solutions to get you the content you need! I was paid approximately $90 for this edit.

I have multiple paid plugins through Motionvfx that allow me to provide easy to understand overlays. By combining multiple plugins and source material I can quickly put together educational content that your audience will understand...and enjoy! While I wouldn't call myself an "animator" I certainly enjoy creating simple animations for my client projects. I never shy away from a challenge and I look forward to creating a "wow factor" for your next project! I was paid roughly $115 for this project. It included the editing the video, adding a thumbnail and posting to YouTube.

Full video link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H44DPLpgqFA I was provided 3 camera angles and 3 audio files to sync and cut between, as well as the intro bumper file. I created 2-4 different template shots (framed up the guest or host, keeping in mind the surroundings like the logo, coffee table, etc) to keep the footage moving while the conversation flowed. This client was very particular that the speaker was on camera at all times, he didn't like over the shoulder shots or reaction shots. No background music or sound effects were allowed but I think would be great for certain parts of a podcast. Overlays were minimal per the client but can be helpful and I always suggest overlays (whether texts or pictures) to add clarity and interest for podcasts on video format. Viewer engagement is key! The raw files for this podcast were all over 80 minutes and cut down to a 43 minute show. I was paid approximately $90usd for this project, as part of a larger contract.

In January of 2020 I took a little step back into freelancing by learning a new skill, video editing. Over the past 4+ years I have mastered Final Cut Pro, and my hobby is deconstructing how the top YouTube channels edit their videos. I have found video editing to truly be a beautiful creative outlet for me - when my son is not so interested in face time with mom :)

It took me multiple weeks to get through this really intense self paced course. During and for about 6 months after I was very active in the community. There I submitted multiple entries in the thumbnail of the month contest and received feedback on over 50 thumbnails. I highly recommend this program!
