I'm addicted to coding since my childhood. I've started programming in Pascal and Delphi and soon moved to Visual basic and VBA. Nowadays, my weapon of choice is Java. This year, I've started working with IBM Power Systems - AS/400 and I'm writing and maintaining COBOL applications for significant car manufacturer. This job taught me COBOL, AS/400 and regex. It has also strengthened my knowledge of Java and SQL. When I'm not coding, I'm exploring Linux or rest of the world trough lenses of my camera. Photography not only learned me to look at things and problems from different perspectives but also to use Photoshop for image editing. I won't bid on projects I'm not sure I can handle. After completing project, please don't forget to rate my work.

I'm developing and maintaining applications in European Renault application portfolio. Most of these applications are running on IBM iSeries (also known as AS/400) which are commonly written in COBOL and CL languages. I'm also working on several Java SE applications which runs on AS/400 or Linux server and on Java EE applications running on JBoss servers.

I started working at BK as a crew, but raised to manager rank very fast, due to my sense for perfection and dedication and passion for work. I've quickly raised to product manager, but I've returned to facility manager, as this kind of job is closer to me. After some time I've found that our excel-based tools can be made better, and I've started reworking them as a hobby. From hobby it became my domain and every excel-based and other office apps for our services goes straight to me.

IT Support, Domain Admin

Jan 2007 - Dec 2009 (2 years)

I've worked as IT support technician and domain administrator for Town Court for Prague 7. As I came in time my precursor was long gone, I had to learn almost all things regarding local IT regulations and security for jurisdiction. I've been supporting about 100 employees, mostly 40+ years old, so I grew great patience, as some task were repeating problems based on not enough knowledge about computers. I've also been implementing local software solution for "Data Boxes" project. My second responsibility was administration of local domain and MS2003 servers - domain, exchange, Active Directory and so on...
