  “I awarded the project over budget because of the expertise and reviews this freelancer had expecting to receive an exceptional cover letter. The freelancer promised updates and knew I was on a time restraint. The project was completed on the last day of the time frame, was not very personalized, and the freelancer did not provide updates. When I reached out to ask how the project was going (in the middle of the time frame) he did not respond. As there was no time left to edit it, I accepted the project as it was and made some edits to it myself. It was completed and was an ok job. Lack of communication, questions (from him to me) and lack of updates will keep me from using this freelancer again.”
