My name is Chuck. As a little backstory, I got an internship ~5 years ago at a local ISP and worked there for a year, then moved into another NOC(Network Operations Center) position at a much larger competitor, where I currently work. I have gained very extensive, high-level Networking experience in the last 5 years working at these ISPs and have also done my fair share of system administration in the process, both on and off the job.
I am very comfortable(and prefer) using Linux(Ubuntu/CentOS/Debian), but am also very experienced with Windows. Apart from professional experience I am an avid programming hobbyist. I have been doing personal/semi-professional software development for almost 2 years now and have a solid foundation with Java, and have dabbled in Javascript, HTML, PHP, SQL, and Python. I would absolutely love the opportunity to program full time as a professional. I have many other qualifications that would make me a strong asset to projects.
