I would like to hire a WordPress Developer

I am a wedding stationer and wedding planner just starting up in California. I contacted a web company in the UK who set me up with a Wordpress website and I bought a Unica theme. This was last year when I was supposed to launch my business. I've dabbled in design and understand lots of apps and programs and built a wix site for my sister's hairdressing business in about 20 minutes flat. I also built a Frontpage website years ago for my business degree and I use design programs to do my invites. I thought this Wordpress and theme would be easier to use than it is. I've spent hours I don't have just trying to get my head around content/linking up/adding in stuff and just simply trying to teach myself to use the theme and wordpress together......I got delayed in getting a website up and running last year because I got ill twice and had operations in May and October so that put me not in the right place for 'learning' a whole new language to do the website....I got my business up and running properly 1st Jan when I felt well again, but now have little time to apply to it.... so I have a partly designed home page with logo/content/contact details ect....but that has a border around it that i need getting rid of (bright yellow rain drops???).. and i have zero idea how to make my pages link up. and there's a blog and a gallery i need adding... So, it's a simple website. home page which has 3 boxes for a more info on services...../click for a gallery of pictures for 3 categories of the business, planning, stationery and a product/a blog is part of the theme which I'd like/ then there's the contact us.. which is on the home page at the moment with a picture behind it which i don't want.. so... it's all there and I don't THINK....that it's a huge amount of work... I don't want the world on a stick....I have done a fair bit of the work and reckon someone who knew what they were doing... if i was skyping alongside them ect... would be able to get me up and running quickly with something... I'm flexible on design and wont be nit picky,... but want rid of the current bright yellow rain drop border.... etc......i'm finding that even my clients who are sat with me holding my designs want to view them on a website too? Please can someone help!
