The initial phase of our deployment has been (mostly) completed at this point as we do have a (mostly) functioning website. You will be required to undertake design modification, module integration and configuration for modules and functionalities that have already been installed on the main Magento website (mostly Aheadworks and Amasty), and then efficiently replicate this installation (and future changes) across 4+ additional domains (hopefully with automatic code deployments), making changes to branding and CMS pages to reflect the business each website relates to. Custom and semi-custom development work will likely be a necessity as well. You will then develop a customer location switcher (or install a plugin that can accomplish same) so that customers can switch between locations on command. This location switcher will also need to be present on a Wordpress landing page to redirect customers to the appropriate Magento site based on their geographic location and/or their selection. You will be required to provide support for website data administration, website changes and tweaks on an ongoing, as-needed basis, as well as monitor and maintain servers for optimal Magento performance. You will need to quickly become familiar with our product catalog, catalog structure, and business model, all of which will be subject to NDA. You will need to code for scalability, security, use source control and proper debugging tools, however, some tasks may be as simple as uploading a new banner to a web category. All of your work must respect a number of web services that we have running between our site and in-store POS systems. All changes must be replicated across all Magento websites. We anticipate growing the number of Magento websites as well. Magento certification is a plus. Real-time communication means (Skype, phone, other) will sometimes be necessary. You must be available during some of our regular business hours in the Pacific time zone for regular meetings.
