Overview This website will be established to: • Host a library of back-episodes of my horse racing podcast as they build over time. • To gather, hold and interrogate information on subscribers to my podcast for future sales activity. • To provide an additional and important branding and communications device to my podcast and to drive customers to the podcast. Requirements • Home page (with consistent branding) and click through to: • Subscriber log-in page. This will be free but will require visitors to provide: - email address - third-party, direct marketing opt-out mechanism and DPR legislation - date of birth - address - level of interest in racing (details TBC) - gender. All of the above will need to be captured and held on a backend database capable of analysis and segmentation for future sales activity. • Podcast Library with searchable date and content facility on previous podcasts • Blog / Updates page - again searchable by date and content • Contact page with all social media and (dedicated) e-mail address information. • Ultimately a merchandising page, for branded products, and other commercial activities   Branding To develop & deliver a coherent voice of authority across all platforms and comms, on ‘What Racing Is About’, specifically to enhance a consumers’ understanding of what they are experiencing when watching racing All branding needs to reflect this, therefore. Logo / podcast cover, photography and music have all been sourced. Copy – this will be undertaken by me but I will need YOUR input re layout, volume and any 'technical specifics', to consistently communicate the brand message. • Ease of Usage – Obviously, this needs to be built into the development of the website, once the visitor accesses the site, however this point also includes advice on hosting the website with a dependable host (with zero downtime) and maximising access via search engine optimisation. Costs • Upfront • Ongoing – hosting, future developments (such as, e.g., adding a ‘merchandising’ page), emergency support and domain name re-registration (n.b. all relevant domain names have already been purchased, with full domain privacy and protection, through Go Daddy) Timescales I want quality not speed! A photo shoot has been booked for July and podcast cover development is underway, but realistically website development cannot happen until after these have been completed. However, I aim to go live with podcast, website and social media in September 2021
