Website design project with a unique home page - high art

This project involves designing a flagship website for an established artist; it is supposed to have a “high art” type feel to it In this case the focus will be on the home page which will display the artists paintings as “moving” pieces (in constant motion) that will flip, rotate, twirl, move so as to dazzle the viewer with colors, shapes and designs - in summery an intriguing and playful website (exact features to be determined) The artist’s logo will also be displayed in unusual manner (to be determined) Once the viewer settles on a certain design he/she can click on it and will be transferred to the gallery sections, initially three (3) different galleries each with different category of paintings. In the gallery sections the viewer can zoom in on any painting by pointing the mouse and see the finite details (higher resolution) of the art Next to each painting text can be added as necessary (for description and or review) Websites sections will include: Home page 1. Galleries (1, 2, 3) 2. Bio (about the artist) easily updated with text and pictures, in English, French, Spanish, Japanese and German 3. References 4. Calendar (dates and events) 5. E-commerce: the e-commerce section can be turned “off” or “on” with one click and will include the following features: The website will have an e-commerce section where the art works could be reviewed, further zoomed in for details, and purchased in various size and color configurations. The viewer can shuffle in between works to find similar pieces or different colors Each painting can be offered at a unique size, color, frame, material and finish Each painting can be shipped in a rolled up or framed finish Each painting can be selected for standard shipping or expedited shipping.
