Hey, I am designing an application based on dijkstra's algorithm in VB. By far, I have designed all the GUI part. The problem is I do not know how to implement the actual algorithm. existing algorithms are written based on a weighted graph map/file but mine is different. Users can drag and drop nodes and connect them to each other by giving them costs. Apart from the algorithm rest of the app is completed. Variables are defined too. Basically, the user can drag and drop routers "PictureBox" into an area and then connect them to each other and assign each connection a cost. so far so good. The problem is the actual algorithm calculation. As you know, almost all of the sample codes in the internet are designed for text based or graph based configuration. FYI: I can store all the information needed for the algorithm calculation as follow: total number of nodes in the area: "Count" ===> Integer list of all start nodes in the area: Nodesfrom() ===> Array String list of all destinations in the area: Nodesto() ===> Array String list of all costs for each connection: "Costs" ===> Integer the start point and destination are selected by two combo boxes (CBFrom and CBTo) a Result is a RichTextBox designed to show the results. If you check my uploaded picture, I want the user to select the starting point form CBFrom and Destination point from CBTo and when they hit the Run button, the result show up in the Result textbox. For example: (user selected Router01 to Router04) Result: Router01 ---> Router02 = 5 Router02 ---> Router03= 9 Router03 ---> Router04 = 3 Total cost from source to destination for the shortest path is: 17

Dear sir, I am strong in VB/C++/C#/java programming especially in algorithm implementation and data structures. I am proficient in many Graph algorithms especially in Dijkstra algorithms. I have implemented Dijkstra algorithm in java/C++/C# and Python. You can check my experience I have done similar project. I can do the project with high quality and in a short time. Wait for your response Thank you BR

Hello, this is very simple u just provide all inputs like cost of route and i will make a matrix of that and then i will run dijkstra's algorithm and find the solution. I have all ready implemented that. kindly consider and provide project. thanks
