Paid on delivery
Scope of the project:
To create video footage which shall serve as the visual basis for Four Bridges, a newly commissioned sound work by US-based Lucas Artists Composer Fellow Howard Hersh (Artist) on-site in Saratoga, CA.
Description:
“Four Bridges is organized around a familiar plot motif in folklore: a journey through a forest. As listeners follow a meandering woodland path, they are taken on a sonic journey that leads them through redwood canyons into oak-lined meadows. Designed to be experienced by visitors over the earbuds of their smart phones, Four Bridges combines instrumental music, the voices and tinkling laughter of a children’s choir, field recordings, audio clips from archival sources, and readings of poetry and prose…”
Demands:
Using a steady camera, Videographer shall record footage of trail as designated and provided by Artist in Montalvo’s forest from the point of view of someone walking along such trail. Videographer shall ensure that the pace of the video matches the duration of the audio file provided by Artist (currently approximately 26 minutes in length).
This project must be completed and available for users to access on their phone by July 12th, 2018.
I charge 100 per minute of edited video. You have proposed a 26 minute video that transitions with the music. This is not a small task contact me directly at 8 3 1 3 3 1 7 9 7 1 to save on the freelancer fee.
I understand this is out of your price range but with the vague job description I don't want to under sell myself. Contact me with more details and we can negotiate a price.
Dear Project Manager,
Here is an idea for a work timeline for this project:
1. Initial meeting and tour of the trail.
2. Coordinate the ideal time for the location access and weather.
3. 1 to 2 video sessions
4. Basic editing and processing
5. 1 Revision
6. Final video
Notes and questions:
Dates and times are TBD
How is this going to be seen by viewers?
Have you produced a similar video?
Is there content has been already produced and that you have taken as inspiration for your project?
Thanks!
