I have a 15 year old WinForms and VB6 application which needs its user interface changed to WPF. In large measure, the data models for each of the user interface elements is already defined; my goal is to get a straight-across, feature for feature conversion. The application platform is WPF 4.5.x, with an MVVM architecture based on portions of the Microsoft Prism/MEF framework. By and large, I'm just using the messaging protocols without a lot of IOC. The User Interface itself uses DevExpress; compatibility with their system is important. We will work together to define the scope of work for each UI element, and proceed from there to produce WPF equivalents. You must be fluent in spoken and written English or German languages to work with me; I am able to understand many different accents; the bottom line is we must be able to communicate effectively. Attached to this description are screencaps of the WinForms elements, and a few screencaps of the "New" user interface ideas.

I saw the screenshots and I think you don't need PRISM framework for your application, maybe you can use MEF if you want implemnt modular application.
