Translate 750 Products - English EN to French FR - CSV File

We are currently seeking a native FRENCH writer, on a freelance basis, to translate around 750 electronics products and parts into european French. The translation will be performed by way of a CSV file which will be provided to the successful applicant. The successful applicant will be a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. The CSV file will consist of 4 plain text fields and one field populated with very basic HTML - the returned translation is expected to follow an identical format. Bcause on of the fields (long description) contains HTML then the candidate will need to copy the english long description into a HTML editor to translate by overtyping, before copying back the finished translated HTML. There are many easy to use online tools that can perform this function. The 750 products consist mainly of accessories, which require no more than 2 paragraphs of descriptive text. Around 1/4 of the products are main products and require detailed descriptions. 1/4 of products (less than 200) are classed as 'Main Products' and require detailed descriptions - consisting of no more than 500 words per product (in most cases alot less). The remaining 3/4 of products are classed as 'accessories' and will require no more than 2 short paragraphs (each around 4 sentences) of text. Maximum 75 words per product. Per product 5 fields of translation require completing. These are; > Short description - 3 sentences. > Long description - As per above (HTML if a 'main product') > Product Title - No more than 70 characters > URL key - SEO friendly product name. Less than 8 words long (e.g. '[login to view URL]') > META title - likely to be identical or similar to the URL key. > META keywords - 5-10 keywords about the product, e.g model, manufacturer, type of product > META description - The short description with 1 or 2 sentences copied from the long description. The 'long description' for 'main products' follows the companies standard template. This consists of... > 1-2 paragraph of descriptive text > Feature List: 8-10 Bullet Points > Package Includes: Up to 10 bullet points > Technical specifications: Bullet points > Overall benefits: 3-5 bullet points Some 'main products' in the catalog do not yet follow this format, for the successful applicant will be expected to manipulate the text in some of the main products in order to follow this format. In addition to the product translation the successful candidate will be asked to perform some additonal translation. This consists of... > 7 CMS information pages - each around 250 words of text. > A list of 200 product attributes, each no more than 3 words in length > Some promotional and element text - no more than 750 words in total. All translations will be checked for accuracy and for duplication with other websites. The source text used must be that provided by the client, text CANNOT be copied from competitors websites. Our clients catalog is constantly changing and new products are being added on a weekly basis. Although the requirement is for the existing catalog to be translated, there is scope for the successful candidate to earn further revenue by providing ongoing translation services. The project shall be paid in stages, dependent on the number of products translated at any given time.
