I have previous experience of doing this kind of projects such as translation from Chinese vidoes into English trancripts. I've looked at the whole video and have strong interests in what the speaker thinks about Chinese medicine. Interest is the best teacher- I have confidence that I can complete this project before the deadline and with a high-quality standard piece of work. In this video, the speaker uses lots of Beijing slangs which I have been listening and comprehending for many years, hence I can really localize the Chinese to the most appropriate English. For this specific project, I will roughly translated the whole thing into English. Afterwards, I will carefully translated those difficult Beijing slangs into English idioms that people often use. Apart from my exsiting understanding of both languages and the topic, I will also refer to other articles and dictionaries for more details of the background to just avoid any possible imperfection.
