Hi,
Aside from being a translator, I am a hiking enthusiast and love the guide test you sent in. I would translate this with great passion and joy in the timescales required with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Please find below a few lines of the test you sent:
3. A privileged viewpoint
The views that can be enjoyed from the summit are exceptional. Looking south, the town of Llafranc can be seen right in front, then Clella de Palafrugell slightly further away. It’s one of the most humanised landscapes that can be viewed from the mountain: white houses intertwining with the surrounding green of the woods to the south of which, a good part of the Costa Brava’s central borough’s coast can be seen. North of the mountain the views are not as deep as to the south, but in exchange offer a rich chromatic and textural contrast from seeing the vast pine groves. It’s the least entropic part of this valuable observatory. To the west, the mountain blends with its surroundings through magnificent views. Firstly, with Palafrugell’s pass and core, and further away with the towering Gavarres. There’s a marvellous set of colours and textures that counterpose, globally and harmonically, with the grand blue tapestry that extends from the mountain towards the east and the rising sun.
I should note that I could only do this translation into English and not French.
Many thanks,
Bego
