To create a 3D solidworks model from 2D measured drawings and marked up images of a small plastic binocular device with total dimensions of 114 x 66 x 40mm.

The 3D model will be used to create a plastic mold for either vacuum casting or injection molding or 3D printing.

Ideal for someone who wants to earn some quick dollars using their solidworks design skills.

There is a total of 7 parts to the device.

1. External Case Part A (Front)

2. External Case Part B (Back) which has an internal side with feature

3. Oculars (right and left) with 45 degree mirror to align the view (C)

4. Mirror holder (D) to provide binocular view

5. External clip female (E)

6. Mounting clip, male (F)

7. Adjustment bar (G)

Deliverables:

Solidworks 2014 (or 2013) SLDPRT file for each part plus the SLDASM for the assembled device. Also exporting into STEP, IGES and STL format.

Milestones

1/3 on delivery of first draft solidworks design for review against 2D models and prototype.

2/3 on delivery of second draft solidworks design files for review and feedback.

3/3 on delivery of final solidworks design files (SLDPRT for each part plus the SLDASM for the assembled device).

Also exporting into STEP, IGES and STL format.
