Hi, For your consideration i have more than 5 year experience using solidwork in industrial design. please checkout my portfolio "Liquid Silicon Rubber Mold Design3D" . It is involving some complex surfacing work. After reading the project description, If the boat is for real life use, I assume that you have the detail design, but if only for presentation, sketch or conceptual design will be sufficient.
