AWS Lightsail re-image startup disk - start over ?

lightsail : that if I want to DELETE my home volume and start over; how can I do that and not get charged for another $5 twice in the same month? Sometimes I just want to re-image startup disk - start over ? Please only BID if you know how to do this and are certain you can do this? Expecting this is something easy for about $10 or so and will be something scripting person with Shell, KSH, Bash, or otherwise would know and understand. Please note there is hope we can mutually complete this task; we can leave each other nice comments and 5 stars for each.
